Vice President Associate Director

This is a hands-on role, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of NICE, including but not limited to finance and membership functions, technology systems and platforms, supplier partner rebate records and distributions, meeting and conference planning, office administration, regulatory compliance, and development of organizational policies, systems, procedures, and programs.

We seek a bright, dynamic leader with exceptional communication, consensus-building, and collaboration skills. A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a business-related discipline and a minimum of 10 years of proven, successful operations and/or financial management experience required, with at least five of these in the building materials industry. Founded in 1996 as a membership-owned LLC that supports independent insulation contractors throughout the United States, the National Insulation Contractors’ Exchange (NICE) is seeking a talented Vice President-Associate Director to help fulfill our mission to foster the growth and success of independent insulation contractors through the efforts of Members and Supplier Partners.

NICE comprises 75 of the best insulation contractors in the United States, employing over 3,500 people and operating 164 member locations. NICE members are successful, growing companies dedicated to continuous learning, service excellence, and employee development. Members come together to share ideas, discuss business solutions, maximize buying power, and explore opportunities. With a focus on best practices for independently owned insulation contractors, NICE is poised for increased growth and visibility.

From our office in Fernandina Beach, Florida, the Vice President/Associate Director will work closely with the President/Executive Director to help implement short and long-range goals for the organization, driving key initiatives and cross-functional projects that align with NICE goals.

The ideal candidate will be able to build and maintain trust among a geographically dispersed, diverse group of business owners and will possess excellent judgment, integrity, transparency, flexibility, professionalism, and credibility. Strong analytical problem-solving skills, along with project management, negotiation, organizational, follow-up, and financial analysis skills, are a must. Must have the ability to travel regularly to plan and attend NICE meetings/conferences and to meet with industry constituents as needed. Strong technology skills required, with an understanding of centralized payment and rebate platforms preferred.
